Man with unusual hearing condition can laugh without pain after life-changing surgery
A North Canterbury grandfather will be able to enjoy the laughter of his mokopuna again after undergoing life-changing surgery.
Ivan Rupene-Ryan, 72, spent the past two years with an excruciating sensitivity to noise, a symptom of a rare medical condition called Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence.
