Rangiora Vet Clinic

Donna from Loburn

Hi there,
I am not one to grumble regarding our local businesses, but sometimes they forget that the small lifestyle block holders are of value and reliable clients.
It has never been an issue seasonally to purchase 5 in 1 Vacs. for under 40 sheep.
(Noting $70 plus for 100mls and has to be used within 30days.)
Popped in today to get the Matrix $195 for worming and 5 in 1Vac.$70 ready for the Autumn Ewe/Lamb tidy up. Been a regular for 7 years, never been an issue, but today RVC told me I could get 10mls. only or buy the full pack.
Really it is time these companies realized, lifestyle blocks are growing, there is a place for smaller quantities of product.
Happy to receive feed back and any suggestions regarding helpful vets, for the smaller farmer.
Maybe go halves in a pack.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
