Beach, babies and bouncy castles
We have an amazing family fun day planned and would love for you to join us at the Pines Beach Gala Day on Sunday 10 February 2019.

Due to the wet weather experienced in November, this event was postponed until February and with the weather settled and beautiful beach days continuing - a hot and sunny day is sure to be on the cards.
We have free bouncy castles, Natural Magic and Sports Suzy on hand to entertain the kids. With a local band The Mule providing sounds throughout the day.

- 11.00am Miss Pines Beach, Master Pines Beach 2-5years, 6-12years Chocolate Wheel Draws
- 11.30am Ballet School Dance Demo Running Races, Sack or 3 legged races
- 12.00 to 1.00pm The Mule Band - Music throughout morning and over lunch break
- 1.00pm Egg throwing competition
- 1.30pm Kaiapoi North School - Kapahaka group
- 2.00pm Sports Suzy
- 2.30pm to 3.00pm Kaiapoi High School - Te Rakiwhakaputa
- 3.00pm Closing ceremony

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
