MANDEVILLE BOWLING CLUB OPEN DAY 1PM SATURDAY 22 SEPTEMBER
Spring has arrived and the Mandeville Bowls season starts on Saturday 22 September. We welcome new members to our open day. We offer Mens and Ladies teams, coaching during the season and have loan bowls available. Younger players will be made very welcome. Open day will be held wet or fine and followed by afternoon tea. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Musicians Wanted

‘Rangiora Bells’ is seeking musicians to join the handbell choir. We are a friendly group of handbell ringers who enjoy making music and entertaining at community groups.
If you would like to come and have a go at ringing handbells, please come along to one of our practice sessions. No commitment necessary if you decide that this is not for you.
An ability to read basic music notation preferred.
Practice days – Thursdays 1pm – 2.30pm
