Professional Services Network

Bryan from Eyrewell Forest

Over the past few years I have had many discussions with local business development groups around the value in the collective knowledge and expertise of professional service providers across the North Canterbury area.

I am a firm believer that if you fill a room with smart and passionate people...great things will happen!

There are many highly skilled individuals across the region working in isolation. My experience suggests that the collective wisdom, experience and knowledge of these individuals could offer something special to the market place

I am looking for expressions of interest from professional service providers in forming a working group focused on promoting professional services out of the North Canterbury region. Ideally a wide cross section of professional services would be represented, including (but not limited to) Finance, Insurance, Leadership and Governance development, Technology Leadership and Governance development, Software development including mobility and web, programme and project management, solution architects, Sales and Marketing, CRM and Brand Management etc.

Opportunities all start with a conversation and that's all I am asking for. No investment, no "BS", just an open and honest chat to see if we can collectively create something unique that we can take to the marketplace.

Please register your expressions of interest including your contact details and a summary of your service offering by sending an email to eyretonconsulting@gmail.com

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
