Buddy’s back, club champs and burnout

Saturday, Jan 19, USA 17-year-old sprintcar phenomenon Buddy Kofoid (USA8) is scorching the Central Otago clay after blitzing Ruapuna last Sunday. His first outing on the track, Buddy won the feature race and smashed the 15 lap race record by 5 seconds.

Bring on Saturday where he’ll be up against NZ young guns Jamie ‘Duffman’ Duff, 18-year-old Connor Rangi, Slammin’ Sam O’Callaghan and Jayden Dodge. You’ll kick yourself if you miss this high speed spectacle.

Saturday also includes visiting wild riding sidechairs (aka sidecars), Club Champs for all classes and a screechin’, smokin’ Burnout Competition.

When: Saturday, January 19. Gates: 2pm … Racing: from 4pm.
