Major road works SH6A between Queenstown and Frankton

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Queenstown Lakes District road users between Queenstown and Frankton will be affected by the road resurfacing activities starting mid-October and running through to mid-November.

From Sunday night, 14 October, work starts on State Highway 6A between Frankton Road and Stanley Street. To minimise disruptions, it will be happening overnight from 8 pm to 6 am, Sunday to Thursday nights.

The majority of the works will be between the BP roundabout in Frankton and the Perkins Road intersection. People who travel this route at night and overnight should allow extra time for their journey.

Night roadworks can be inconvenient for residents living nearby and some people may hear machinery noise, however this will be for a limited time as the work crews move along Frankton Road.
