An easy way to give this Christmas!
What is your favourite Christmas treat? Mint sauce, scorched almonds, salted peanuts, picked onions? FreshChoice Supermarkets are encouraging customers to give non-perishable food items to their local community through the Give Local in store. So when you are putting your fav into the trolley add a second one for the donation trolley. An easy way to give locally this Christmas.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
