Fancy a bike adventure in the Kaimanawa Range?
A new high-flying tourism offering has opened, featuring stunning views of the central North Island more than a mile above sea level.
But getting Kaimanawa Alpine Adventures (KAA) off the ground has been no easy task for Taupō’s Orr family who have built one of the most remote trails in New Zealand - the spectacularly scenic Kaimanawa Descent mountain bike track.
Stand together in tough times
There's strength in community, especially when times are hard. Victim Support is here to ensure that nobody faces the aftermath of crime, suicide or traumatic events alone. But we need you! Bring your unique life experiences to the table and join us in meaningful work that changes lives.
By volunteering with us, you can make a real difference, helping victims stay informed, safe, and empowered. Volunteer today and do good in the dark times.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Victim Support Team
Poll: Have you ever been bullied?
People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.
This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
Have you or your whānau ever experienced bullying? Share your thoughts on Pink Shirt Day below.
