INTERNATIONA WOMEN'S DAY - POSTPONED

Virginia from Pukekohe

International Women’s Day has been postponed due to the restrictions of Covid 19 to Level 3. The intention is to re-schedule it for a later date and the date will be dependent on the speakers availability. It is upsetting, but better to contain the virus than allow potential spread to the wider community.
Ticket holders will be informed of the new date when it is fixed. If ticket holders require a refund please notify bpwfranklin.tickets@gmail.com and this will be set in motion but may take a few days to initiate, as all people involved are volunteers.
Thank you for your tolerance and we look forward to sharing our new date asap . We know it will be a great event with much enthusiasm, excitement and anticipation continuing to ooze from all involved!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
