WAY OF LIFE HEALTH SHOP COVID-19 ALERT LEVEL 3 MESSAGE

Way Of Life Health Shop

Dear customers,
Following the announcement by the Prime Minister Friday afternoon that the greater Auckland Region stays in Alert Level 3 (and the rest of the country, Alert Level 2), our Way of Life Health shop will therefore operate under the alert level 3 guidelines.
Following the announcement our team has intensified their already strict hygiene practices in our shop. These measures have been put in place to help keep everyone safe, along with social distancing. The immediate situation has also meant our practitioners operating from our practitioner rooms have temporarily suspended their services.
We have our website online service: wayoflifehealth.co.nz to serve your needs, orders can be picked up or delivered contactless.
Alternatively, we take phone orders, email orders, or orders messaged through Facebook.
Phone: 092387806
Email: wayoflife@xtra.co.nz
Facebook: Way of Life Health Shop
Shop hours for pick-up are 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
Front and back door will be open for pickups at the door. The back door is accessed through the Countdown Carpark.
We will reassess on a regular basis so please watch for further updates.
Our Herbal Dispensary service is operating by contacting our practitioner via phone 092387806 or Facebook or email wayoflife@xtra.co.nz. We can then organize your medicinal formulations to be picked up or delivered contactless.
The well-being of our shop team and our customers is of the upmost importance to us and how we operate reflects this.
We strongly urge you to be prepared with a well-stocked emergency kit at home (including items such as hand sanitiser, face masks, basic medicines for your first aid kit and antibacterial wipes to help support good hygiene).
What we ask from you:
Please stay home and do not pick up orders if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or if you or any people in your bubble have been in contact with anyone that has, or with anyone in managed or self-isolation.
If you feel unwell, please call the Healthline on 0800 358 5453.
We thank you for supporting our local business, who is here for you and your family.
Take care and stay safe,
The teams at Way of Life Health shop and clinic

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
