Moringa is a nutrient packed superfood with many impressive benefits. It is used medicinally for a number of health concerns including anemia, asthma, digestive issues, headache and joint pain. It has also been used as a remedy for swelling and a variety of infections including bacterial, fungal and viral types.
Moringa Latte
1 1/2 tablespoons moringa powder
3 cups cashew milk or nut milk of choice
2 tsp maple syrup
2 tsp coconut oil
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a pot and heat on a medium heat. Whisk thoroughly until well combined. Bring to almost boiling and remove from heat. Pour into a blender and blend until frothy and smooth. Serve.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
