Voices in the Wind choir recruiting now
The holidays are over - now is the time to try new things! Come join us. We are a small friendly choir that sings a wide variety of music. We welcome singers of all ages from across greater Wellington. Even if you have never sung in a choir before come along and try. We are starting rehearsals again on Weds 12th Feb 7:30pm St Barnabas Mana, Porirua. We are particularly looking for Altos and Basses, but all are welcome. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
