Garden Open Days Sat 16th and Sun 1th October 10 am until 3.30pm

Carolyn from Tawa

This weekend will likely be the last chance to see the tulips for this year.
Our garden is not just about tulips though. We have designed several small gardens within the whole so you can see topiaries, a long border, Mediterranean slope, French courtyard, mini meadow, herb garden, vegetable beds, citrus and other fruit trees, Asian courtyard, and a tropical styled jungle.
All this on a 633 m2 section in Tawa. If you are after inspiration on how to landscape your section you are welcome to come and have a look.

Entry by donation please.

Mask and Scan/sign in are required at level 2.

Thank you.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
