Re: A large road pothole in Pikarere St is getting danger and danger for a while!

Joanne from Titahi Bay

Good morning, people!

There is a diameter 50cm big pothole in Pikarere Street, Titahi Bay, Porirua.
It had been there for more than 15days by now.
It is getting bigger with people and Wellington waste water trucks going down the hill direction along Pikarere Street.

I want hear what my neighbours are saying about it, please!
Because I am feeling scared, I am going to drive following the bus routine to go down hill. By the way I can keep me and my assets safe, I think.

Kind Regards!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
