Christmas shopping today in Tawa at the Plaza & New World Atrium

Trudy from SoulyNZ

Today's a great day to go shopping in Tawa:
- The Pop Up Market is on in the New World atrium - so many awesome things to buy at the stalls there, all local creators.
- Nicola Harwood Goldsmith and Joel Alcorn Jewellery create incredible jewellery, greenstone and art.
- Healing Light Crystals featuring the amazing Donna and her fabulous selection of all things for the soul
- Cafe Addict is right there when you need a break - Krisna makes great coffee and they are lovely people!
- And SoulyNZ is open for a wide range of NZ Made or designed products, a bit of something for everyone.

Come on down to the plaza in Tawa, between 10am and 2pm and support all these local creators and retailers - we really appreciate it when you shop local and support us and the people we support in our stores.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
