Garden Competition
Hello Everyone!
Some of you might have received an invitation in your mail to participate to the Garden Competition during our Lockdown.
This competition is during the next months and is open to everyone who has a garden in Titahi Bay.
That you are looking to sell, to buy or not, everyone in that area is on the same level and invited to participate (keep your children busy too).
3 Prizes to win:
1st Prize: $150 voucher at Countdown + $50 worth of plants donated by Kaye from GrowFromHere
2nd Prize: $100 voucher at Countdown
3rd Prize: $50 voucher at Countdown
Why I am doing this? I live in Titahi Bay and caring about the happiness of my neighbors is essential.
To register simply follow my Facebook page: Leslie Solé:
www.facebook.com...
and send me a message with your first name, address of your garden, your phone number and email address.
You don't have facebook? Just message me on Neighbourly.
You can still find seeds and gardening supplies in your supermarkets.
I apologize in advance if I have miss your address as I did my best to distribute as much as I could before we move to Alert Level 4.
I will wait we move on level 2 before to distribute to the missing addresses.
UPDATE!!!!!! : Due to level 3 showing up and the limited access to shops during that period so as my access to your garden to choose the winner (otherwise it is not a bubble anymore) that date is postponed to 1 month after the first day in level 2.
The final date is unsure at the moment but the competition is NOT canceled, just postponed.
Thank you
Best of luck and look after yourselves!
We will go through this together

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.4% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.4% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.2% ... It is complicated
