English Language Partners Porirua has several 'English for Employees' courses starting next week for anyone from a migrant or refugee background. Free for residents and citizens. Learn the English you need to improve your work life, get a better job, handle work-related reading, writing, listening and speaking better. Contact us today to reserve your space. Courses can be taken online. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 6 - 8:30pm, and Saturday 9:30 - 12:00pm
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
