It is time for a doggy party

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

Times have been ruff – lets party. That is what dogs are saying about the latest pet craze, a birthday party for your dog.
Sabrina Matara used to be a chef and has found the skills she learnt in a restaurant kitchen easily transfer to creating birthday treats for dogs.
She makes pupcakes and confectionery bones for dog parties.
Matara and her husband, Tama Tua, own the Furr Bro pet service and in-home dog care.
Furr Bro is just branching into dog parties; however, it is big business in many parts of the world. It is easy to find birthday party ideas and recipes online, and specialist shops are springing up..
Pupcake ingredients included bacon, bananas and honey and the accompanying bones contain beef stock and wholemeal flour.
Have you ever had a party for your dog?
