Did you spot the pod of dolphins on the South Coast?

A pod of about 50 dolphins were cruising between Princess Bay and Houghton Bay early this week when a couple of them got stranded in the shallows.
Luckily, a trio of locals scrambled down the steep cliffs to rescue the pair of dolphins from a small alcove in Houghton Bay.
Did you see the dolphins or witness the rescue? Have you spotted dolphins in this kind of strife before? Where is the best place in the capital to spot visiting dolphins or whales?
