Who deserves a mention?
WANTED: A Porirua grandfather and former mechanic who rescued a couple of Aucklanders whose car broke down between Taupo and Rotorua in February.
A friendly couple from Nelson who had a dodgy Daewoo station wagon are eager to thank him.
And so do we. This good sort has inspired a new series of articles highlighting those who do a lot of good but often go unmentioned.
We can't call it the Good Sort series because, well, that's already used by TV1 so instead we will call it Our People.
We have a few potential ideas already, but what we are really after is recommendations from you about who you think deserves a mention.
It could be someone you know who does something kind, something thoughtful, anything for the sake of helping someone else.
We will follow it up and, if they're keen, work on an article for Our People that might inspire another just like that Porirua grandfather.
