Calling all Porirua volunteers working in conservation- Please join us for Restoration Day!

Community Engagement Advisor from Greater Wellington Regional Council

Are you giving native biodiversity a helping hand in your free time by planting native plants, weeding pest plants, or trapping pests? If so, we’d love to invite you to Restoration Day, whether you're currently a volunteer, new or thinking about how you can get involved.

Restoration Day is your chance to hear (and share) stories, experiences and best-practice techniques for ecological restoration. It's an annual networking and training event we run with our partners for community groups and individuals involved in the important work of environmental restoration.

There is an exciting line-up of activities and speakers this year, including getting out into the field. So bring your walking shoes!

We'd love you to join us on May 21, so to learn more or to register go to: www.naturespace.org.nz...

Thanks to our many partners involved in organising this day: Department of Conservation, Wellington City Council, Hutt City Council, Kāpiti Coast District Council, Porirua City Council, Victoria University of Wellington and Zealandia Ecosanctuary.
