Volunteers needed for Holy Family School Breakfast Club

Fuatino from Ascot Park

Kia ora!
We are currently looking for kind-hearted volunteers to help at our school's daily Breakfast Club. We provide breakfast every morning for any of our students who may need it.
We are running low on volunteers at the moment, so if you are able to help please let us know! Breakfast is Monday-Friday and we need people to be there from 7am (to set up) to 8:40 (to tidy up)
If you are able to help on any of these days, please either reply to this message, or contact Holy Family School directly.
Holy Family School is located at 169 Mungavin Ave (behind the church)
We look forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards,
Futaino Leaupepe-Tuala (teacher)

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
