Three-term Porirua councillor Anita Baker has announced her bid for the city's mayoral chains.
The Whitby resident says her campaign - and potential mayoralty - will highlight her experience, financial nous, proven ability and honesty.
"I'm a 'say it as it is' kind of person, you won't die wondering what I think," she said.
