Pottery Tankard
Looks good but I would not want to drink out of it!!
There is a small bit of glaze missing on the handle.
There is a signature and potter's mark on the base.
Height 16 cm
Width at top 8 cm
There is some sticky wax on the base - this has come up from Christchurch and the wax was for earthquake protection.
I have been given a number of pottery pieces some are listed as being from the old Nelson Pottery but I cannot say that this is from there.
