PCC DOES NOT recycle Glass - Glass goes to Landfill

Anne-Marie from Titahi Bay

Please be aware: glass in PCC recycling bins collected goes straight to landfill.
ALL Glass in the recycling bins collected is not recycled.
See these false images /flyers which were received in our letter boxes
SEE the big false advertising on these bins and trucks
We all have been lied to, deceived by PCC for a very long time.
There was report commented in the KapiMana about 6 months ago
Maybe PCC should rectify this and change to correct wording, maybe advertising glass collection
Why cant PCC be honest with us.
Some of us are passionate about recycling
Be careful who you vote for and not the guilty ones!

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if itโ€™s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
