Chess players get together
A Chess enthusiast is keen to start a weekly 'meetup' of Chess players of differing ability.
IF there are enthusiastic and keen Chess players please contact me. By email is preferable. My email is > rohitha.fernando@gmail.com. Initially we are planning to meet weekly at The Porirua Club of a Thursday starting next Thursday. Start time 7pm but we will need to register would be Enthusiasts at The Club so we would like people to meet at The Front Desk by 6.45pm.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
