Have you seen these dogs?
A Dunedin couple have issued an appeal to the residents of South Canterbury to keep their eyes peeled for their two missing dogs which are believed to be travelling in a white van.
Dice, a 9-year-old black poodle, and Weed, a 3-year-old fox terrier cross, were reported missing on October 17. There have been "very sketchy" reports of sightings of a white van in the Temuka, Timaru and Tekapo areas in recent days.
The owners urge people to keep an eye out for the dogs, and if you come in contact with the van, take down details including the registration plate.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
