Daylight saving is this weekend, so don't forget to adjust your clocks back (between the Easter eggs and hot cross buns) – and, it's a good time to check your smoke alarms. It's as simple as pressing the "Test" button, checking the expiry date, (and changing the batteries if it's not a long-life alarm).
(No, this isn't an April Fool's joke; checking your smoke alarms is one of the least foolish things you can do! They really do save lives).
