Police are appealing for information after an aggravated robbery in Timaru last week. Around 5pm on Thursday 11 April Timaru Police were called to an address on Kiwi Drive after the occupant was assaulted and robbed.

Around 5pm on Thursday 11 April Timaru Police were called to an address on Kiwi Drive after the occupant was assaulted and robbed.
A 60-year-old man received cuts and bruising. He was treated in hospital and has since been discharged. The offenders are believed to be two females and a male.
Police are seeking information in relation to any suspicious behaviour on 11 April between 1 and 5pm on Kiwi Drive, in particular in close proximity to Westend Park. We also ask that anyone that may have CCTV footage in the area at that time to contact Police.
Information can be passed on to Sergeant Kevin McErlain on 021 191 2286. Information can also be supplied anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Our littlest people need your help. Poverty doesnβt start at 5, but until now thereβs been no nationwide programme to help preschoolers who are hungry and cold.
KidsCan is changing that. Theyβre delivering raincoats, shoes and five fresh meals a week to 25 early childhood centres. Attendance is up, and the children are happier and more settled.
"Everyone has the same meal so children don't feel like they have less," Manaia View Kindergarten teacher Kathy Belz says. "It's upholding everyone's mana.β
