Independent clinic with 30+ years of experience - Reply

Matt from Henderson

Hi everyone, Matt here. Just want to say, now that we have Youtube and many other video sharing sites this day in age. There are now lots of different vids on hearing loss that you can use for your particular type of hearing. I can give you one or two links if they are helpful for anyone. Note: These will help with your hearing a lot but if you are still going to a ear clinic, keep going if you are needing to go, I'm not here to stop anyone from going to see a specialist. That's is what I'm not writing this post about. I'm just writing this post to see if anyone does listen to these hearing improvement sounds, will see if they have had improvement in their hearing, that's all. I hope that your hearing will help with these sounds.

To finish off, I would recommend, if you are listening with your laptop or computer, put your main volume down to about half the volume, than start the hearing sound. If you are using a Ipad, or smartphone or any other smart device, maybe just put your main volume down slightly more lower, put the hearing sound on then adjust your volume when needed.

Here are the links that I have from Youtube:

www.youtube.com...
www.youtube.com...

These are just two videos for all to use. If you want more, just on Youtube, they will have vid available for you to use. You just need to pick which one suits you for your hearing.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
