Have you signed up a team for Relay For Life?

Reporter Marlborough Express

Do you have a story to tell, or a special reason you're entering? Perhaps you took part in the last event and would like to share your experience? We'd love to hear your stories! Email helen.nickisson@stuff.co.nz or call 021 198 8197.
Relay For Life is an inspiring community experience that gives everyone a chance to celebrate cancer survivors and carers; remember loved ones lost to cancer; and fight back by raising awareness and funds to support the work of the Cancer Society.
Everyone and anyone can be involved, whether you have a connection to someone who has been or is going through cancer, or you just want to make a difference.
The money raised through the event helps people in the community through the Cancer Society’s support services, health promotion programmes and cancer research.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
