Fire prompts warning to steer clear of the Wither Hills during the hottest time of day
The biggest fire in Marlborough for the season has struck paddocks and pine trees, spanning over 20-hectares.
Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) Marlborough principal rural fire officer John Foley recommended people did not use the Wither Hills Farm Park tracks during the hottest time of the day, which was about 10am to 6pm.
