Mentor youth to change the future!

Hannah Cunningham from Volunteer Marlborough

Mentoring can have a powerful and positive influence on the lives of young people as they grow and transition into adulthood. Family Works runs a youth mentoring program and we are looking for a few more kind and enthusiastic people to join the next training session on Wednesday 18th September.
All it takes is an hour per week to change their lives forever.
Interested? Call 03-577-9388, or email vm@volunteermarlborough.org.nz or apply online at marl.volunteermatch.org.nz/ (filter by category:youth)

Poll: Is it rude to talk on the phone on a bus?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Buses can be a relaxing way to get home if you have a seat and enough space. However, it can be off-putting when someone is taking a phone call next to you.

Do you think it's inconsiderate for people to have lengthy phone calls on a bus? Vote in the poll, and add your comments below.
