Nelson Marlborough Health to reduce services during workers' strikes
Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) is preparing to close most elective services provided at Nelson and Wairau hospitals on Thursday 5 & 12 July 2018 due to nationwide strikes by nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants who are covered by the New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) collective employment agreement.
Strike notices have been received for:
Thursday 5 July, from 7am (ending 7am 6 July).
and Thursday 12 July, from 7am (ending 7am 13 July).
