The cost of sending a standard letter within New Zealand will increase 20 cents from $1 to $1.20, from 1 July 2018.
Will this cost increase make you think twice about putting something in the mail?
Prices will increase for all Standard Post letter sizes and Bulk Mail, along with increases for domestic parcels, courier, international inbound and international outbound letters and parcels.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
