The Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management are implementing a new nationwide emergency alert channel. It’s a useful system, even though it’s in the early stages.
Although this warning alert system is a great way to stay safe, please don't forget it doesn’t replace natural warning signs. If the earthquake is Long or Strong get Gone!

If you have knives, tools, or other items that need sharpening, come along to the special Farmers’ Market today.
