Movie Fundraiser for Age Concern
There are still plenty of tickets available for the premiere of Victoria and Abdul, starring Judi Dench. This film looks amazing, and you really can't go wrong with Judi Dench! It tells the true story of Queen Victoria's friendship with her Indian clerk Abdul.
The event is on this THURSDAY 14th September, at Top Town Cinema. Refreshments will be served from 6pm, with the movie starting at 6.30pm. Please note the date change from previous advertising.
Tickets are $25 and include a drink and nibbles.
They are available from the Age Concern office, between 10am and 1pm (at the Marlborough Community Centre, 25 Alfred Street) or phone us on 5793457. Sorry cash or cheque only.
Also available from Top Town Cinema

Festive Farmers' Market Christmas Market
SharpAs Tool Tips
I’ll be at today’s Marlborough Farmers' Market from 3–6pm — a great last chance to get your knives sharpened before a busy Christmas Day.
If you have knives, tools, or other items that need sharpening, come along to the special Farmers’ Market today.
Please note: aside from the statutory days, I’ll still be open.
Cheers,
Ron
