Hello, live in Hutcheson Street and I am in the middle of renovating my garden and had 8 blue Warehouse ceramic large pots and a bag of potting mix stolen from my front yard. They must have used some form of transport to convey them.
Anyone with that noticed a house with new blue ceramic pots please get in touch with me.
I dont know whats wrong with this street. Every opportunity to steal from my property is abused. I have taken precautions.

The last week has been full of reminders about the big quake that shook us awake a year ago and we’re still actively involved in the recovery process for the people and communities who have been affected.

I wonder how many of you went to the public presentation last Tuesday and had the opportunity to hear how New Zealand is contributing to an understanding of earthquakes across the world? I found it fascinating (and awe-inspiring) but I wonder how they would have answered the sorts of questions we’re faced with!

The plan for November is for everyone to bring along a copy of a favourite Christmas recipe. Lorna is going to collect all the recipes and then I will share with everyone via the newsletter, Facebook and Neighbourly. If anyone would like them sent out in hard copy to their postal address please pass on that information to Lorna and I will arrange that when I get home again.
