Local heroes fight to make sport available for all
Paeroa couple, Steve and Josey McKain, are determined not to see sport become a rich man's game.
Throughout their 30 years in the sporting arena, they've watched talented athletes being forced to walk away from sport simply because they couldn't afford it.
They've raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to get people into sport, and say that "by treating everyone with equality, you remove any embarrassment that could come from the expenses of sport."
