Have your say on the Regional Council’s Public Transport Plan
The Regional Council is seeking submissions from the public on its proposed Regional Public Transport Plan for the next 10 years. Now is your chance to have your say. Consultation will end on 19 September.
We have shown that public transport can work in a small town like Thames. Maybe you would like to see a similar bus service in your town – Whitianga? Whangamata? or maybe you would like to see the Thames service extended – up the Thames coast or out to Kopu? Perhaps you would like a service from Ngatea to Thames or around the Coromandel Peninsula?
Now is your chance to have your say. Make sure this plan is not just about public transport within Hamilton city. Tell Regional Council that you want public transport in and around small towns as well.
