More than 600 people spent some time on the bridge at Labour weekend, showing that this Category 1 Heritage site is definitely becoming a popular place to stroll, cycle, sketch, birdwatch or meet for a chat.
Admission to the Historic Kōpū Bridge is free: donations are always appreciated and will be put towards getting the swing span functioning again during 2021. If you would like to join the roster for these days or volunteer to help at future events and working bees, please get in touch.
The bridge is fully wheelchair accessible.
