Glen from Central Whangarei

Children with Disability NZ Our mission! To make Northland the most disability-friendly region in New Zealand. To provide more events for our disabled children their parents and siblings to enjoy togetherness, we are well advanced on this goal.

We are under new management our Chief marketing officer (CMO) Glen McMillan has been promoted to Chief executive officer (CEO)

Glen McMillan will continue his CMO role

CWD are a Northland New Zealand-based registered charity CC5914

My commitment as CEO of Children with Disability NZ is to take the concept of acceptance and inclusion for disabled children and their families to every town in New Zealand, to do this I will need help with research sending emails and contacting all councils

The goal is to submit plans and suggestions to every new playground development in New Zealand to include accessible play. I am making connections with playground providers I feel sure will help promote this concept

If you are good on a computer and can work from home researching eg looking up council “have your say pages” and submitting a prepared plan. Our disabled children need to feel more included.

Please PM me of Facebook or email Glen at childrenwithdisabilitynz@gmail.com

This is a volunteer positions or positions. This is a new start we CWD (Children with Disability NZ ) would love this concept to catch on all kids deserve playtime.

We want help and person power to organise events we need ideas.

More usable and wheelchair-friendly outdoor experiences sensory programs and equipment in public spaces.

Our mission is to make every disabled child welcome in New Zealand.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
