The conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn
I am not much of an astronomy fan by and large - and so I must admit that I haven't the foggiest how to find Jupiter or Saturn in the night sky (If I'm lucky I can find Venus, Orion, and the big dipper).
Can anyone tell us approximately where in the sky to observe this event, and at what time? I found some info from the Northern Hemisphere that says SW just above the horizon ... but does that apply to us as well? Usually the configurations are 'upside down' as we view them, and things don't become visible in the same way between North and South.
Any pertinent information would be appreciated, thanks.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.5% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.2% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.3% ... It is complicated
