ELECTRIC VEHICLES - Leading The Charge Roadtrip (16 March)
The annual BetterNZ Trust Electric Vehicle Roadtrip is stopping at Timaru this year for a display, rides and test drives. Join us from 4pm, hosted at HVS motors (3 Hobbs Street) from 4pm to 6pm. There’ll be the chance to have a ride in the latest Tesla Vehicles and test drive some of the current range of vehicles seen on NZ roads. There are plenty of experienced owners on hand to answer questions. Bring along your licence if you want to feel what the “EV grin” is all about!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
