Helensville Flea Market-opens Saturday 9th July at 9 a.m . Another of our awesome flea market/ garage sale right in the heart of Helensville! Helensville War Memorial Hall, behind the library on the Main Street! . There will be sellers of bric a brac, second hand clothing, vintage tools, vinyl records, books, baby clothes, toys and games, retro and collectibles, good used second hand household goods- come and grab a bargain! The Helensville Lions will be there, selling quality second hand books, DVDs and puzzles/ games.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
