WHO IS STANDING IN MY WARD? To obtain this information, and also find out which Ward you are in, Google TCC ELECTIONS 2024. There you will find the names and contact details of the people standing for ward councillor and mayoral positions..

If you want to know more about the candidates, search YouTube for IT'S IN THE BALLOT. On that page you will be able to watch videos of the various Ward and Mayoral meetings that have been held. The candidates were required to answer a series of questions and briefly outline their policies.

MEET THE PAPAMOA WARD CANDIDATES. Papamoa Ratepayers will be holding a meeting tomorrow, Monday 24 June, at the Legacy Chapel Hall at 7pm at which people will be able to listen to the candidates for the Papamoa Ward speak There will also be an opportunity for members of the audience to ask questions.

MAYORAL CANDIDATES. Papamoa Ratepayers will also hold a meeting on Monday July 8 at which the mayoral candidates will be present. Same place, same time. This is bound to be a lively meeting.

These two PRRA meetings will not be videoed. If you want to hear what the candidates have to say you will have to attend. Attendance is not limited to PRRA members. People who have not yet joined PRRA are welcome to attend.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
