Not long to go to biggest book sale...
Just two weeks now until our huge Rotary book sale will be held in the Seeka Coolstore, Harvard Way, Mt Maunganui, starting Friday March 3rd 12pm to 6.30pm, March 4th and 5th from 9am to 4.30. Since we could not have a sale last year, we have more books than ever! Drop-off points for books, jigsaws, records, dvds, art, oil column heaters, and drapes are below. Please note, last day for dropoff is February 28.:

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
