Hand-crafted Wood as Christmas Gifts
South Auckland Woodturners Guild will have more than 2000 hand-crafted items of woodturning exhibited at 245 Great South Road, Papakura, from 30 November to 24 December 2020. This shop is opposite the Countdown car park and just three doors south of Averill Street. Normal shopping hours apply. The range of goods from 20 club members is expected to be high - bowls, vases, boxes, spinning tops, platters, chopping boards, clocks, pens, and more. If it is not there, ask and someone may make it for you. All items are for sale as this is the prime fundraising activity for the Guild. Club members are present to advise and help anyone with an interest in this type woodwork.
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
