Help Me Fight Bowel Cancer – Together We Can Save Lives!
Hey neighbours!
I’m on a mission to help Bowel Cancer NZ kick some serious butt. They do amazing work supporting people and their whanau through one of life’s toughest battles, pushing for better screening, and raising awareness that really saves lives.
Bowel cancer’s no joke - and way too many Kiwis are losing the fight when it could be caught early. So I’m asking for your help to make a difference.
If you can spare a few bucks (or even just want to cheer me on), please donate here:

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.8% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
24% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
16.1% ... It is complicated

Illegal dumping
This is awful how people just disregard bylaws. dump their rubbish in parks and waterways to try get away with having to pay dumping costs at the rubbish dumps and transfer stations. This also can cause flooding again due to blocking the grate of the culvert in Princes street. No thought for neighbours or damage that can be caused by their actions.
